Responsibilities:
- Design and build applications for the Android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Build a Scalable App
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with Android development with Java or Kotlin.
- Proficient with RESTful APIs to connect android applications to back-end services
- Good understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with Google maps APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git
- Good understanding of Design patterns e.g. MVC/MVP/MVVM
- Proficient in building UI using XML
