Job Description
- Minimum 8+ years of experience / Minimum 2+ years of experience in architecture and design / Minimum 2+ years of experience in AWS Cloud
- Hands-on Architect. Application and DevOps background
- Skilled level expertise in design of one or more of AWS application services technologies.
- Background and experience in emerging technologies in cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Microservices architecture
- Skillsets: Python, Shell scripting, DevOps lifecycle, DevOps tools like Jenkins, Chef, Containers Concepts and AWS services
- Knowledge of security/access control, concurrency, online diagnoses, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization and production support
- Worked on building platform products or systems that dealt with tenets like scalability, high availability and operability.
- Nice to know concepts of NoSQL and Kubernetes
- Nice to know new generation AWS services
- Nice to have AWS Solution Architect certification (Not Associate)

- Experienced with agile/iterative project methodology such as Scrum, preferably with experience using agile project management tools such as JIRA or Rally
Roles and responsibilities
- Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
- Able to handle customer directly as an independent contributor and as a team member
- Work closely with Enterprise or Solutions Architect at customer side. Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding
- Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
- Mentor Junior Engineers within the team and guide them to next level skillsets and technology
