Must Have Skills
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test test cases
- Execute all levels of testing including Smoke, Regression, Functional, Usability, System, and User Acceptance Testing
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- A thorough understanding of Software Test Life Cycle
- Test execution in the various phases, logging defects, and tracking them to closure.
Desired Skills
- CSTE or ISTQB Certification
- Design and executive test plans on web based applications.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Knowledge of any one automation tool like UFT, Coded UI, or Selenium.
- Good communication and documentation skills
