Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, design documents to create test scenarios and test cases
- Design and build automation tools that will be used to automate testing for our product
- Automate backend and UI test cases and continuously improve automation coverage and code coverage
- Contribute to the team initiatives in improving testing processes and practices
- Execute test cases as per the test plan and provide status report on execution progress
- Isolate and report bugs and track them to closure
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years of enterprise software product testing experience required
- Strong programming skills in Java and other programming and scripting languages
- Experience developing test automation systems, preferably, based on Java and Selenium
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems
- Experience working on Linux/Unix environment
- Well versed with Software Testing methodologies and techniques
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem would be a big plus
