Role Description
- Take full accountability and responsibility of global financial messaging hub applications
- Lead all enhancements, changes & bug fixes, while ensuring change management framework is fully complied
- Have very deep sense of security aspects and ensure security reviews and its feedback is incorporated on time in all applications
- Partner with all downstream applications effectively so that any changes could be communicated to them on time and are well managed
- Technically lead a team of highly technical and project management resources and guide them sufficiently for application’s success
- Build strong relationships with partners, team members and all stakeholders
- Report status in concise way to all the stakeholders of global financial messaging team at predefined frequency
- Work as individual contributor as situation demands and work allocation within team/resources
- Work with Technical team and vendors to provide resolution on futuristic SWIFT functional implementation and architectural challenges
- Keep track of projects, programs, release’s (deliveries) and keep statuses aligned with stockholder’s requirement/deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering) or MCA/MCS
- Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis in order to interact with US/UK team and to meet urgent requests by Clients
Technical/Functional Proficiency
- Proficient in basic Java/J2EE (EJB/JMS) & Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience in complete SDLC (development, testing, deployment and troubleshooting) on UNIX and Windows
- Experience of IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle, Red Hat AMQ
- Experience in WebServices , SOAP, API development, JAVA MQ API, knowledge of UNIX Shell scripting will be an advantage
- Should hold knowledge of CICD tools
- Knowledge of security management tools will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of SWIFT protocols and interface implementation
- Knowledge of SWIFT FIN/MT messages and ISO20022 formats
- Technically competent, well organized, pro-active and be comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels
