Requirements:
- Ability to design, build, deploy custom matching algorithms to be used with Elastic Search clusters.
- Experience working with Open Shift Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience developing web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Experience in the healthcare domain, especially in the area of Clinical Quality Measures.
- Experience leading small groups of software engineers in the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Experience with healthcare standards such as HL7, QRDA, CCD, etc.
- Experience with large product integrations and performance enhancements.
- Experience analyzing large volumes of data.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with software architecture, applications development life cycle and project management of web based applications.
- 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise applications preferably using Java.
- Hands-on experience with managing distributed Elastic Search cluster.
- Ability to fine tune search queries, understand scoring, apply appropriate search filters.
- IOC using Spring experience using both XML and annotation driven context configuration.
- Micro / Web Service development experience.
- SQL and Database development using myBatis experience.
- JBoss application server and configuration or comparable J2ee experience.
- Use of Java IDE (IntelliJ) with debugger experience.
- Base understanding of, and practical implementation of common OO design patterns.
- Base understanding of web protocols like HTTP, FTP, TELNET, SFTP.
- Base understanding of encryption using TLS or SSL.
- Base understanding of core unix commands for managing file systems and processes.
- Understanding and implementation experience on any Java Unit testing frameworks – like Mockito etc.
- Strong Maven experience with some exposure to Jenkins and other DevOps CI environments.
- Past experience in building a software product from the ground-up to live production.
- Experience building scalable, commercial web applications.
- Past success in continuous integration and test-driven development.
- Experience in code optimization and performance tuning.
- Ability to act as an architect to lead the team to build new, innovative solutions.
- Successful track record of delivering multiple releases within a year and in an agile environment.
- Experience working in highly interactive partnership with product management team.
- Experience in designing and developing database applications using SQL.
- Experienced all phases of a Software Development Life Cycle.
