Job Overview
Validation of 802.11 Wireless LAN products (Wi-Fi) -Validation of WLAN products (Access Point/AP Router/ AP controllers/Station Cards) -Expertise on Test plan creation, test bed design and implementation, familiarity with preparing functional and system test plans. -Should be able to identify and debug issues and to track them. -To report on bug metrics and status updates. 1.Release testing of WLAN solutions (automated and manual) 2.Setting up test beds and other required provision for testing of Atheros products 3.Test plan updating and creating new test plan for new products 4.Bug reporting and follow up activities to resolve the bugs 5.Work with the development team for debugging and recreating the bugs 6. RF level work experience in measuring EVM, TxPower
Minimum Qualifications
1.Bachelors in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Electronics/IT or equivalent degree
2.Basic knowledge in programming and scripting
3.Experience with Windows or Embedded Linux and/or other RTOS environments
4.2 years of working experience in WLAN or networking products is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in setting up test beds for testing of networking equipments and developing test plans Automation of the testing process using Perl script with the existing frame work
Education Requirements
BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or in Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program.
