Skills: Test Automation Strategy
Skills (Must have):
- Strong background on networking, SDWAN, network security, WAN access technologies and building complex solutions
- Very strong understanding of Dev-ops, distributed systems, CI/CD and test automation
- Used Jenkins and other continuous integration tools in a production environment.
- Rich experience in Agile SDLC and be able to hit the ground running from day 1
- Experience with contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools
- Strong understanding of cloud and virtualization, Linux and containers
- Working knowledge on network security and WAN optimization is desired
- Experience with a few of the below technologies is highly preferred: Django, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Git, GitLab, TestRail, Azure, AWS
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to roll up your sleeves and get the work done!
Skills (Preferred/ Nice to have):
- Experience with Atlassian class of products – Jira, Bamboo, Confluence.
- Experience with OpenStack, KVM or Docker
Responsibilities:
- Be able to independently execute manual testing and automation
- Understand feature and customer requirements, translate the same to test cases to execute
- Consistently measure the quality of testing and feed the learnings from the field to improve on an ongoing basis
- Plug test escapes through automation
- Develop automation scripts that are comprehensive, close to customer use cases scenarios and be able to catch critical issues
- Schedule adherence, be able to clearly articulate and communicate the plans to a larger audience
- Engage in detailed reviews with peer teams, be able to anchor the technical discussions
- Handle customer escalations, able to provide in-house reproduction of the issue and work closely with peer teams to provide a solution to the customer
- Be innovative in improving the quality and efficiency of self and the Organization.
