Job Description
Tableau Developer is part of the Analytics Services Department. This is both an individual contributor and team leader role for Tableau related deliveries.
The position will have extensive learning opportunities while working directly with two highly experienced consultants with extensive industry experience in data analytics in both India and US/Canada.
What you will do:
- Client projects – Developing dashboards for our clients – both in India and US/Canada.
- Internal Product Development – Develop dashboards for current and future offerings
- Tableau Content Creation – Marketing Dashboards
- Participate in project discussions with team
- Report progress to team lead
- Mentor less experienced team members
Additional Expectations from you:
- Staying updated with latest versions of Tableau
- Improve skill areas in other tools
- Travel – <5%
- Working hours – 9 am to 5:30 pm
Requirements
Intermediate Tableau skills – Ability to develop a good dashboard with some design guidance and limited help with calculations/formulas.
- Data connections – join, blend, pivot
- Exploring & Analyzing data – basic charts, filters, parameters, table calc
- Formatting views – controls, options, axes
- Develop dashboards – layouts, actions, devices,
- Tableau concepts – extracts, aggregations, field types
