Job Description
Do you enjoy building highly scalable and secure backend for web applications? Do you love coding in Python, Node.JS?
As part of this role, you will build out the backend infrastructure for our web applications, ensure that they are hack proof, follow battle tested practices and can handle all the newer challenges of working with Blockchains.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Working with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap.
- Using the latest tools and techniques.
- Working in highly collaborative teams and building quality code.
Ideally, you should you have:
- 2 to 5 years of development and delivery experience with Python / Node.js or any similar exciting technologies.
- Familiarity with few databases, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDb, RDS etc.
- Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
- You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture.
- You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of our customers.
- You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together.
Nice to have:
- You’ve built financial, high reliability or security systems.
- Experience in Microservice architecture.
- Familiar with Docker, Terraforms, AWS etc.
