Job Description
Java developer with specialization in Kafka & Spark – Experience 7 years and worked atleast in 2 completed & in production projects
a. Strong Java programming, shell scripting, and SQL
b. Strong development skills around Spark and Kafka
c. Strong understanding integration of Kafka/Spark/MongoDB
d. Good understanding of file formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro and messaging protocol like MQTT
e. Experience with databases like MongoDB & MySQL
f. Experience with performance/scalability tuning, algorithms, and computational complexity
g. Experience (at least familiarity) with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL development
h. Ability to understand ERDs and relational database schemas
i. Experience with messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka.
j. Strong knowledge of reactive architecture and microservices.
k. Expertise in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests for the platform
l. Expertise in automated build, test & deploy
