JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
Analysis and design experience including exposure to pattern-oriented software development (including Object Oriented Design) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
Integrate data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

Help maintain code quality, organization, and auto mitigation.

JOB SKILLS

Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
Experience integrating systems through web services, preferably using WebAPI/ SOAP.
Experience with MS SQL Server 2008+ including database modelling and query optimization.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and writing reusable libraries.
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Experience with popular web application frameworks
Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
