Role: Knowleage for Data Scientist
Responsibility
- You understand the immense potential in leveraging data from multiple sources – CRM, product transactions, clickstreams, partner APIs to build better products and to drive better business decisions.
- You are extremely hands-on and have experience in building and maintaining data pipelines as well as delivering on core data science use cases such as pricing algorithms, segmentation, recommendation systems.
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are excited by the opportunity to work on new/emerging technology in the space.
- You have demonstrated a good balance of technical skills and business contextual understanding.
- You are proficient in Python programming, have worked with SQL, Spark and one or more ETL / data replication tools.
- You have used Scikit Learn or equivalent packages and Flask or equivalent frameworks to develop and production models.
- You have worked with the latest AWS / equivalent cloud computing technologies, are proficient with command line programming and have basic knowledge about network security, VPCs.
- You will initially work on establishing processes to consume data from Pickyourtrail’s many data sources. This would over time transition into delivering a very tangible business impact through cutting edge data science use cases in the travel space.
Required skills
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark with experience having set up data pipelines / worked on ETL tools as well as developed and implemented models.
Qualifications
B.Tech, M.Stat/ MA, M.Sc. (Economics)/ Math or other equivalent degrees from a reputed institute
