Job Description
This role encompasses all aspects of architecture and management of cloud infrastructure, CI / CD, Service Delivery, Systems Reliability and Scalability being accountable for all deployment and technical operations within the scope of the DevOps role.
Reporting directly to the HD of Development, and MD.
Leading a small team and working closely with senior management to deliver on commercial and operational goals for the platform and bring your knowledge and experience of the DevOps domain, including production support and optimum cloud solution.
Key responsibilities:
- Establishing the service delivery culture,
- Provide a detailed roadmap to achieve the given goals
- Own all aspects of strategy, design and delivery in line with the above given road map.
- Delivery of high performance and highly scalable solutions
- Maintaining a high level of service availability
- Performing quality reviews, manage operations, and operational issues
- Improving the manageability and the supportability of the cloud products
- Quality reviews, managing operations and operational issues
- Maintain continuous grasp of technology such that the architecture, tools and best practices are incorporated where advantageous to the business.
Required experience:
- AWS
- Experience in similar roles.
- Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
- Strong Devops Background
- Cloud scale infrastructure, architecture and deployments
- 3+ years of experience managing DevOps teams
- CI/CD development pipeline and the maturity model
- Agile development, techniques and methodologies
- Nagios,
- Linux server environment.
- Java, Python, or SQL.
