THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
- Design and develop solutions for insight generation and improved analytics consumption within the client organization
- Combine advanced analytical skills with business acumen to drive key metrics and improved revenue for the client
- Develop highly scalable advanced analytics tools using machine learning, data regression, and rule-based models
- Work across teams to develop, refine and scale data management and analytics process and frameworks
- Catalyse the analytical maturity of the client by suggesting, collecting and synthesizing requirements and developing self-service scalable solutions
- Work as an extension to the analytics teams to implement algorithms that power user and developer-facing products
- Be accountable for measuring and optimizing the quality of the algorithms
- Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- BE/ B. Tech degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PHP and shell scripts
- Hands-on experience working on recommendation, targeting, and ranking systems
- Strong background in Large scale Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition and/or Natural Language Programming
- Background in text understanding
- Experience working with Hadoop/Hbase/Pig or MapReduce/Bigtable/AzureML/ Scala/ Hive/ H2O would be an added advantage
