Some Qualifications We Look For
- 4+ years of relevant hands-on analytic experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Operational Research or similar field, or related disciplines
- Background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or other related technical field
- Experience building machine learning models in Python (or R/ Matlab with the ability to learn new languages)
- Experience with many of the following:
- Statistical analysis: hypothesis testing, time series, generalized linear models, bayesian modeling
- Supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, including: linear regression, logistic regression, random forest, SVM, naïve bayes, clustering, PCA, anomaly detection
- Pandas, NumPy, sklearn, statsmodel
- Ability to prototype apps and create visualizations
