RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and review business/functional, and technical requirements.Develop code according to specifications and standards.Document implementation details.Prepare test data and plan and conduct basic unit or module testing.Support quality assurance teams and defect resolution.Participate in project/team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required.May be required to be on call to provide support on a need-to basis.
Essential Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience.Minimum 4 years of experience Python and related technologies.Strong Python skill with good understanding of multiprocess architecture in python. Django framework experience is preferred. Strong unit test and debugging skills.Proactive thinking with a ‘can do’ attitude.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Bit of experience in NumPy, NLTK, Gensim is a requirement
Desired Skills:
Certification – Dev 401. Willing to learn Ruby will be an added advantage. Postgresql experience will be preferred.
