Job Location: Chennai

Experience: 3+ Years

Primary Skill: Hadoop

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in design, development and coding world class software with 5-8+ years of sound ETL experience
  • Experience with Spark/Sqoop/Hive (Or willingness to learn backed with solid technology understanding of distributed systems) is essential
  • Must have the ability to design, co-ordinate and develop in a fast paced agile environment

Key responsibilities are:

  • Be a hands on project lead at offshore who can lead by example
  • Coordinate with other consultants located in onshore (USA) and offshore (India)
  • Ownership and responsibility for end-to-end design and development, testing, release of key components
  • Ensure process compliance and manage expectations of the leadership
  • Actively participate in brainstorming session and provide solid inputs to the team
  • Create design document, test, release plans
  • Successfully migrate ETL logic into Spark/Hadoop platform
  • Ensure best practices are followed

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experienced with Brokerage/Banking application development (5+ year)
  • 5+ Year Development and Design Experience in Big Data Architectures like Apache Hadoop
  • 5+ Year Development and Design Experience in Spark/Sqoop/Hive
  • Relational Database SQL (Oracle) experience (5+ year). Should be capable of writing complex and efficient SQL DML statements
  • Sound ETL experience (e.g. Ab-initio, Informatica, Data Stage)
