- Experience in implementing and supporting highly scalable data systems and services written in Scala or Java.
- Experience with Spark is essential.
- Experience with Hadoop, Kafka or equivalent technologies is strongly desirable.

Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience.
- Proficient in Scala, Java and SQL
- Strong experience with Apache Spark, Hive/Impala and HDFS
- Familiar with Python, Unix/Linux, Git, Jenkins, JUnit and ScalaTest
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Experience with any of the following distributions of Hadoop – Cloudera/MapR/Hortonworks.
