Skills / Expertise Needed
Must Have
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of SDLC and STLC process.
- Hands-on experience in Automation using Selenium
- Good Experience in SQL, writing DCL, DDL and DMLs including (sub query, joins and procedures).
- Good exposure to working in CI/CD environments such as Bamboo/Jenkins/Teamcity
- Experience testing deliverables in Data warehousing ETL (data validations with source, functional transformation, and performance)
- Good exposure to Configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
- Willingness and aptitude to learn and develop as full stack engineer involving mainstream programming languages like Java and reporting tools like MicroStrategy
- Knowledge in creating automated test builds, running/debugging builds.
- Ability to write test scenarios/test cases.
- Ability to create test data.
- Ability to write clear, concise, descriptive defects in defect management tool.
- Ability to execute all the test scenarios/cases.
- Ability to Interact with developers to resolve issues discovered during testing
- Capture stack traces and log failures to be reported in defects.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Competency with web application architecture and technologies, including multi-platform/browser support.
- Understanding of Unit and Integration test.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge on Healthcare domain
- Exposure to testing of business intelligence (DWBI) tools (MicroStrategy, Qlik, etc.) is a plus
- Exposure to shell scripting would be a plus
- Experience with API tools (SOAP UI)
