Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Pager Duty incidents during weekends and weekdays during the shift
- Ensure the up time of our 7×24 cloud solution and restore the system to minimize customer impact as needed.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, developing solutions for our customers while understanding their business needs
- Perform assigned Development work during weekday/weekend shift in absence of Pager Duty incidents
- Analysing the issues reported from customers, reproduce and fix defects.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Minimum Requirements:
- Up to 3 years of software development experience in JAVA, Python or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts and design
- Should be pass-out from reputed Engineering Colleges in CSE or IT or ECE
- Well versed with multithreading concepts/programming & exposure to debugging tools/techniques
- Up to 3 years of Software development, technical support or professional services support experience
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Knowledge of Microservice and containerization technology
- Knowledge of REST-style web services, HTTP, HTTP servers
- Experience with best practices in software development (Code reviews, test automation/unit testing, version control)
- Knowledge of software configuration management tools and IDEs (such as Mercurial,IntelliJ, GIT Lab respectively)
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery models and DevOps
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Fluency in English and excellent communication and writing skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with JAVA and Python.
- Knowledge of REST web services using JAVA spring boot framework.
- Good to have knowledge AWS Cloud.
- Good to have knowledge on Cassandra and Elastic Search.
- Good to have knowledge on AWS Technologies, microservices and Docker.
