Responsibilities
- Work closely with scrum team (Products teams, Ops teams, Project Manager) to understanding feature requirement.
- Analyze various integration points within and outside SAP Ariba’s Ecosystem and design a strategy to test and automate them.
- Qualify planned standalone and end-to-end test in production and automate the flows for repetitive testing.
- Debug & Analyze any functional failure points in production and report issues with appropriate supporting details.
- Proactive in tracking any issues and provide update in frequent intervals
- Presenting ideas for Test & Automation Strategy, automation infrastructure and process improvements.
Knowledge and Skills
Technical Qualifications
- BE/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.
- Excellent coding & Analytical skill in Java and must have experience in designing and writing JUnit tests.
- Must have experience in coming up with customer aspect test scenarios for feature life cycle and testing.
- Ability to understand problems in software, isolate as needed and file a defect with clear/detailed instruction.
- Experience in using any Bug Tracking, Test case management and Version Control Systems.
- Must have experience with at least one web-based UI Automation tool (ex. Katalon/Selenium/Protractor).
- Basic knowledge in handling Unix/Linux environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and run new processes in an existing team
- Follows good coding & automation standards
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and good team player.
- Domain experience in procurement space is added plus
