JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Design interfaces to improve user experience – working with UI/UX teams and Graphic Design teams.
- Liaise with Product development team to plan new features.
- Ensure achievement of quality standards.
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
- Any other duties as assigned by Department Head.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of mobile development platforms such as Swift and Java and related App building frameworks such as XCode and Eclipse etc.
- Good working knowledge of web services such as SOAP and REST and ability to tap into such services for data I/O via mobile apps.
- Good working experience with third party tools and APIs
- Good analytical skills with a favorable approach to problem solving.
- Familiarity with OOP design principles.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT etc.
