Job Description

Requires knowledge in such areas as data mart or data warehouse development, Hadoop platform, SSIS, or other ETL solutions, web and cloudoriented systems integration and communicationbased systems, languages such as C, Python, or Java.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
Able to multitask and adapt quickly to change and coordinate activities with others.
Strong analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills along with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitation or driven by enterprise need.
Responsible for transforming and combining data from disparate sources to create data assets, data profiling for uniqueness, values distribution, range and pattern analysis, as well as, responsibility to clean, validate, aggregate and materialize data from the Data Lake.
Supports the enterprise with access, usage patterns, identification and solution to data anomalies.
Identifies and implements best practices to limit or prevent issues in the Big Data ecosystem.
Collaborates with Data Governance, Security, Compliance and Privacy on the processes and approvals required for extraction and data management.
Supports junior level staff in the operation, release management, automation and integration of the Big Data platform.
Stores metadata in an integrated repository to leverage metadata as a primary source of knowledge.
Builds a robust, scalable, reliable and repeatable data ingestion process that enables the capture of structure and unstructured data. Creates a secured and governed process that can support different ingestion patterns and capture lineage on the Big Data platform.
