Responsibilities:
- Expertise on Database up-gradation or Migrations on RDS PostgreSQL including Assessments, Planning and Implementation. Experience on managing RDS on AWS.
- Working/configuring multi-master and read replica nodes in AWS RDS
- Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate RDS DB solutions
- Work with product owners to prioritise features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of DB technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issue
- Hands on experience in implementation of table partitioning in postgres database -Understanding of impact on application side and changes needed.
- Understanding of data storage based on column data type.
- Ability to write script/utilities to help with Data deletion, archival, restore and other DB tasks.
- Security and roles management for DB objects. Handling PII data.
