Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other team members to understand testing needs and translate them into quality systems and reporting solutions
- Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, Learn QA team, and SRE to govern intake and scheduling of projects and delivery of solutions
- Assisting/performing cost/benefit analysis of tools used for testing efforts
- Collaborating closely with Development team for testing activities
- Providing QA support to project initiatives and system enhancement requests with specific accountability for the following tasks:
System scoping - System testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing
- Interpreting business requirements and creating test scenarios accordingly
- Supporting the development team with testing and reporting defects
- Working closely with the product owner to get thorough knowledge of requirements
- Creating automated test suites for Mobile App and Back End Applications
- Maintain and update test documentation between releases and follow-up on fixing status
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on experience with black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Team player with great communication skills
- Experience using agile tools like JIRA
- Manual application and product testing on Android /iOS devices
