Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Work closely with business and solution team to gather requirement and deliver right solution
- Write SQL queries/procedures in Teradata system to meet the requirements
- Review existing queries and enhance their performance
- Writing low to medium complete Unix shell scripts
- Interacting with various teams such as Operations, Support, and Business etc.
- Share the workload and flexible enough to get into other technologies
- Coach and guide other members in the team
- Following defined process for project delivery and on-going support
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Candidate is expected to possess the below mentioned skill sets.
- Work experience with Hadoop would be a real plus.
- Good understanding of data Warehouse & data modeling concepts, design principles
- Good analytical skills to understand the data.
- Experience in DWH and complete SDLC processes.
